Deadlines

– Submission for oral presentations: January 15, 2025
– Submission for posters, with participation to awards: April 1, 2025
– Submission for posters, without participation to awards: May 30, 2025

Instructions

– Abstracts (not including the title) must not exceed 500 words.
– The official language of the conference is English. Abstracts should be submitted in English
– The title of the abstract must reflect the work.
– The full names, titles, institutions, and e-mail addresses of all authors must be clearly stated. 
– At least one of the authors named in the abstract must register for the conference. Only abstracts that are submitted by the authors who have registered for the conference will be included in the program.
– Each presenter author is allowed to present a maximum of two abstracts. There is no limit to the number of abstracts per person as a co-author.
– Each abstract will undergo a peer review process. Based on the submitted abstract, the scientific committee will decide if your abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation.

Awards

Best Poster Award

The “Best Poster Competition”, will award prizes to the posters that showcase innovative work in a clear, engaging manner and are presented with competence and enthusiasm during one-on-one interactions with the jury. 

Eligibility: all participants presenting a poster

Young Scientists Poster Pitch Award

This award will recognize young scientists who can best ‘sell’ the work in their poster in a 5-minute pitch talk. Admission to the latter competition will be based on abstract reviews, with results communicated ahead of the conference.

Eligibility: Participant must be less than 35 years old

Candidates will be required to provide evidence of eligibility (e.g., passport, driver’s license).

Csaba Horváth Young Scientist Award for best oral presentation

Honoring the memory of Csaba Horváth and recognizing his contributions to HPLC, including his interest in fostering the careers of young people in separation science and engineering, the Csaba Horváth Young Scientist award will go to the best oral presentation made by a young scientist as selected by an award jury. All presenters of oral contributions (excepting past winners) who are less than 35 years of age at the time of their lecture are eligible for consideration.
